About Dhikala
Dhikala sits deep inside the reserve on the edge of a large grassland (chaur) overlooking the Ramganga. It is the zone most associated with an overnight stay inside the forest, and it is entered through Dhangari gate. Wide open views make it a favourite with photographers and wildlife enthusiasts.

Frequently asked questions
Can I stay inside Dhikala?
Forest lodges exist at Dhikala (our earlier page lists 32 rooms and 2 dormitories) and are booked through the forest department. Booking windows and rules change — we can guide you through the current process.
Is a tiger sighting guaranteed in Dhikala?
No. Corbett is a wild forest, not a zoo. Any zone can offer memorable wildlife and none can promise a particular animal. Patience, the right season and a good guide help.
How do I book a safari in Dhikala?
Safari entry is by permit and limited per shift. Send us your dates on WhatsApp and we will tell you what is available and how to proceed.
